How much does the party cost and what will it entail?

We offer room hire in our LTC building for £25 an hour, this is an educational building with two available classrooms and a small kitchen area (fridge, sink and tea/coffee facilities). The whole building is included in the hire. We also suggest that you need an hours set-up time and an hour clearing away. We do charge for this set up and clearing away time. Each added activity is charged at a rate of £20 see below.

What additional activities can children do ?

Additional activities last approximately 30 minutes, please select from those listed below.

  •  Farm tour and animal handling experience

Take a tour around the farm—meet all our animals and see what crops we grow. Pet and groom our small animals (guinea pigs and rabbits).

  •  Scavenger hunt

Children are split into teams and must work together to search for a variety of things around the farm. They are given a hunting worksheet and in order to win, must answer questions and find the most items from the list. It is a fun and active opportunity to self-explore and learn about the farm.

  • Whirlow ‘Egg’perience

Have the opportunity to visit the old hen house, feed the chickens and collect the freshly laid eggs from the nest boxes. Children will then learn how we grade the eggs into small, medium and large so that they are ready for sale in our shop.

All activities can be adapted according to your needs.

When can I have a party?

  •  Saturdays and Sundays
  •  Between 10am and up until 4pm

Who is responsible for the children?

You are fully responsible for the behaviour of the children. Whirlow staff are entitled to refuse to lead the party if the children are not behaving properly.

You are also responsible for all First Aid, but we will provide access to first aid kits.

All activities are fully risk assessed and lead by trained members of staff.

Where can parents park and can they stay during the party?
