Free Farm Tours
We are delighted that we are again able to offer free farm experiences in the autumn term 2023. There are only spaces for 14 classes (up to 30 children) per day so book early. Tours run on a Tuesday or Friday from September to December 2023.
Please contact our education team by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
As part of our commitment to the national Countryside Stewardship programme, we are able to offer a free day visit experience that includes a 2 hour farm tour and a self-led nature walk for a single class per day.
Farm tours take place 10:00 -12:00 and 12:30 -14:30 for each half of the class, with the other half following the self-led nature walk/scavenger hunt, the details of which we will supply, including maps and information.
During the tour, the links between farming, conservation, food production and the environment will be explained at an age-appropriate level. You will also get to meet our animals both around the farm buildings and the wider field network with the opportunity to feed / handle some of our animals.
A sheltered area for your group to have lunch will also be provided.
Bookings will be on a first come, first served basis so please make sure you book early!
