Volunteering and placements
Our volunteers are the backbone of the Trust - we simply couldn't manage without them. They help in every aspect of what we do and so there's bound to be a place for you too! We are able to offer some opportunities for 14-18 year olds too.
We have dozens of regular volunteers, and even more who turn out for special events. They’re a great crowd and get involved in every aspect of Trust life from leading school groups on farm tours to helping with the grape harvest. It goes without saying (although we say it regularly!) that we simply couldn't do what we do without them. And in addition to the warm feeling you'll get from helping the Trust reach out to thousands of children each year, you'll make new friends and get the chance to spend time in a beautiful location.
Lots of corporate groups want to volunteer with us too - it's a great teambuilding and PR opportunity. See our Corporate Support page if that's how you would like to get involved.
Please email us on volunteering@whirlowhallfarm.org or call on 0114 2250161 to ask about our latest volunteering opportunities.
