EMR launches brand new fundraising partnership with Whirlow
EMR - European Metal Recycling have become the latest company to join our 480 Club and their staff have also pledged to get involved with fundraising activities for Whirlow.
EMR, one of the world’s leading metal recyclers, which has two sites in Sheffield, has recently partnered with us to help raise funds for the Trust.
As part of the partnership, EMR have become members of our 480 Club, which in exchange for an annual donation provides benefits to local businesses and individuals in Sheffield - EMR will also take part in some staff fundraising, will provide free advertising at its sites and will be sponsoring the farm’s summer fayre in July.
Gavin Longley, Area General Manager at EMR, said: “At EMR, we put a great deal of importance on supporting the communities that are close to our sites, which is especially true in Sheffield where we have two sites.
Whirlow Hall Farm Trust stood out to us as an organisation as it really makes a difference to the lives of young people in Sheffield. It is a fantastic concept; educating and providing emotional support to young people through working on a farm.
We are extremely happy to be able to help a charity such as this and are looking forward to seeing the difference our support will make.”
We're really excited to be working with EMR and look forward to helping them plan some really great fundraisers.
