Openwork Foundation Grant
6.10.2020
Whirlow Hall Farm Trust is thrilled to have received a £5,000 grant from the Openwork Foundation.
The Openwork Foundation provides support to vulnerable people to improve their quality of life through their grant programmes. The Foundation was introduced to Whirlow by local Financial Advisers, Tim Smith Associates.
Sam Tesch, Head of The Openwork Foundation said; “We are delighted to be able to support the work of Whirlow Hall Farm Trust once again. It means so much to hear the impact of their work and our trustees and supporters are pleased to be able to offer this vital grant during these difficult times.”
The Openwork Foundation has supported Whirlow a number of times over the years including funding towards a new minibus, contributing towards the salary of a specialist education tutor and supporting our Alternative Provision education programmes. This £5,000 unrestricted grant will support our work during this uncertain time and ensure we can continue to support some of Sheffield’s most vulnerable children and young people both now and in the future.
Whirlow’s Chief Executive, Ben Davies, said; “The continued support of The Openwork Foundation is invaluable. At a time when fundraising is even more competitive than ever, their support means our work with vulnerable youngsters can continue whilst we find our way through this pandemic crisis. We would like to thank all the trustees and supporters of The Openwork Foundation.”
