We are delighted to have received a grant of £1,500 from the Redbrik Foundation!

The Redbrik Foundation was set up in 2020 by the estate agents, Redbrik, with the aim of raising funds and awarding grants to charitable causes in Derbyshire and South Yorkshire, primarily focusing on care of the young and elderly.

The grant will support Whirlow’s alternative education programmes for vulnerable children and young people who cannot attend mainstream education due to a variety of medical needs, mental health issues and learning disabilities.

Redbrik Foundation Chair of Trustees, David Cooper, visited Whirlow this week to see first hand how the grant will support the work we do with children and young people who are struggling.

‘We are delighted to provide a grant to Whirlow Hall Farm, a fantastic local charity who do amazing work with children with extra educational needs. It is a fantastic, unique facility and we are only too pleased to play a part in helping them continue their amazing work’

Whirlow’s Chief Executive, Ben Davies, said “Donations from local grant giving organisations are vital in supporting Whirlow to continue to provide our range of education programmes on the Farm. We are extremely grateful to Redbrik for the donation and their interest in supporting the work we do.”
