Sheffield Volunteer Standard for Excellence

We are delighted to have been awarded The Sheffield Volunteer Standard for excellence in managing and supporting volunteers.

We are amongst the first of the voluntary organisations in Sheffield to achieve The Sheffield Volunteer Standard that has been awarded by VAS, Sheffield Volunteer Centre, for excellence in managing and supporting volunteers. We are delighted to receive this recognition as we try hard to ensure that volunteering is a really positive experience. All our volunteers are brilliant - whether they help for an hour occasionally or spend most days of the week with us on the farm. We really couldn’t help all those thousands of children and young people without our dedicated team of volunteers. We are passionate about the benefits volunteering can bring to individuals, the charity and the wider Sheffield community.
